Are you right for Thor?

Thor can live with other dogs but any children will need to be over 16. He has a history of guarding items and this needs to be managed at home. He is house trained but struggles being left by himself so will need someone at home with him most of the time.

Is Thor right for you?

Thor is a sweet eight year old Cockerpoo who loves fuss and company. He's been happily sharing his kennels with a dog or two and we think he'd really benefit from having a canine companion at home. Thor has been rather stressed in kennels and having a pal to share with has definitely helped. He likes to explore and puts his nose to the ground when he's out walking, taking everything in. He's been very friendly with the staff and has got along with every dog he's met, though he does prefer calmer ones. In his previous home, Thor would steal items like socks and pajamas and take them to his bed and guard them. If people tried to take them from him without trading them for something else, Thor would growl. This is not to be encouraged in his new home, but this is the reason any kids in the family will need to be older teens. He knows how to swap and this is the path that should be taken, not challenging him over items he has.
