Gusty

I'm looking for my forever home. Could you be my perfect match?

Are you right for Gusty?

Meet Gusty! He is a handsome 4 year old Spaniel Crossbreed looking for an adult only home. Gusty came to us as a stray so we have little known history about him. He enjoys getting to know people gradually so someone that has owned dogs with different personalities may understand him better than someone who is first time dog owner! Gusty could potentially live with another dog pending successful meets at the rehoming centre, though he gets on best with calm female dogs. He loves getting out and about to practice his training so he would love someone that can commit to continuing all his hard work. Gusty's potential adopter will need to be able to come to the Rehoming Centre for a few meets prior to adoption and then be at home with him during the day to begin with to help him settle. After this, leaving time will be able to be built up. Gusty really is a wonderful dog and will make a great companion to his perfect match.

Is Gusty right for you?

Gusty has fantastic relationships with his known handlers and loves nothing more than cuddling and giving kisses! He can be apprehensive of new people so it would be best if his adopter's don't regularly have visitors to the home as he may find this stressful. Moreover, his favourite walks would be in quiet areas to prevent him feeling overwhelmed. Gusty is a chatty fellow who is very food motivated, he loves learning tricks such as sit, paw, lie down and sit pretty! If you think you are a good match for Gusty, please submit an application and include Gusty as one of your ‘Favourites’.
