Are you right for Asher?

Are you ready to welcome a fun loving companion into your life? Asher is a 2 year old English Bull Terrier cross looking for a calm, adult only home with no visiting children. He needs to be the only pet in the household, but he can have doggy friends from a distance to help slowly build his confidence. Asher’s ideal home would be in a quiet cul-de-sac or rural area, where visitors are minimal, and he can feel secure. He requires a private garden with secure fencing and no access to the front door, helping him to adjust to his new environment at his own pace. A home with breed experience would be a great match for Asher, as it would help him build confidence and offer outlets for his natural instincts. Once he feels settled, Asher can gradually be introduced to spending some time alone.

Is Asher right for you?

Although Asher can be shy when meeting new people and in unfamiliar environments, he is a loving, playful boy once he gets to know you. He is a cuddle bug who loves a good bum scratch and enjoys spending time with his favourite handlers. Asher is mostly housetrained and knows basic commands like sit, down, and paw. He is not a fan of loud noises, particularly the hoover, but he is curious and enjoys sniffing around new environments, making him a great companion for someone who loves the outdoors. This fun loving boy enjoys playing with toys, though he has a knack for destroying the soft ones! Meaty treats and hard chews are his favourites, and he is particularly fond of rubber balls and a good game of tug. Asher needs to be walked on a lead with two point contact when out in public. He will also benefit from mental stimulation and slow, careful socialisation to help him adjust to new people and environments. With time and patience, Asher will thrive in a quiet, supportive home where he can build trust. If you are ready to offer Asher the love, patience, and quiet environment in return for his endless affection and loyalty, we would love to hear from you.
