Are you right for Skipper?

Skipper is a happy little dude who loves to say hello to people on his walks and learn new tricks. This chipper 7 year old Jack Russell loves to play with toys and his favourite game is tug of war! Skipper is looking to have his own secure garden, fully enclosed with a 5ft fence that has direct access to the home so he has a safe space to run around daft in. He'd also like to have safe spaces to rest in the home without being disturbed suddenly, as he is more of an independent guy and isn't a couch potato! Skipper is looking for an active family who have experience with terriers or similar breeds. At the moment, Skipper would like to be the only pet in the home but he can socialise out on his walks!

Is Skipper right for you?

Skipper is looking for a home where he is not going to be left alone much at all as he hasn't coped with this previously. We also recommend building any time you do leave him alone up very gradually over time, but for the foreseeable he will need constant company. Skipper can be quite worried by formal handling, in particular at the vets and grooming so would like a family who are happy to help build his confidence up with this. For this reason, he is looking to live with slightly older children; aged 16 years and over. He will make a fantastic addition to a training minded family. As a more sensitive guy, he will need multiple meets at the centre to build a relationship before heading home.
