Are you right for Max?

Max is a 4 year old Terrier cross looking for a home with his own secure garden and would prefer a quieter home in a quiet area as he can be a sensitive boy. Max will need at least one female in the home. He will need to be the only dog in the home and will need a cat free home too. He can live with children over 14 years and can be left for a couple of hours once settled. He has always slept in the bedroom so would love adopters who are happy for him to continue this.

Is Max right for you?

Max is a sweet and sensitive boy who would love a quiet and patient home. He can be timid when first meeting people so does benefit from going at his own pace. Once he's settled and gets to know you he does have an affectionate side and will come over for fuss and attention. He is also happy spending time on his bed or looking into the garden out of the window. He is very worried by other dogs and has been vocal on his walks when he sees other dogs. We have been doing training to get his attention on us when there's other dogs around and he's doing really well with this. He would love training minded adopters who are happy to walk him in quieter areas and practice his focus around other dogs as this will be ongoing training with him. He's a super playful boy and loves his toys. He is an amazing boy with so much potential with adopters who have the time and patience to help bring him out of his shell. Max is currently in a foster home and so isn't at the centre.
