Are you right for Cotton?

Say hello to the most wonderful little lady, Cotton. Here at the rehoming center cotton has stolen a lot of hearts and puts a massive smile on anybody's face who meets her. Cotton came into us as a pregnant stray and gave birth to 8 beautiful babies who have all now found their forever homes. Even though Cotton has not had the best start in her life she is one of the most loving, caring and sweetest souls around. We are looking for very gentle and patience adopters to help this girlie build her confidence both indoors and outdoors as the world seems like a bit of a daunting place to her right now. Cotton would be best suited to an adult only home but she could live with very sensible secondary school children who can treat her softly. As Cotton can get worried, we feel that she could live with another very calm dog pending successful meets at the centre, she does do well with some dog walking buddies but can get stressed by very bouncy dogs. Cotton really does not like being left alone and will need her new family to be around all of the day at the start to help her settle into her new environment, leaving time can be built up but this will take some a while so adopters need to be aware of this before applying.

Is Cotton right for you?

Cotton is a one year old Staffy who is ready to meet her new family. This gentle girl will need multiple meets at the centre with any new adopters to help her build confidence before going home. Cotton needs someone who can commit to taking her on her new exciting journey helping her build on an already beautiful character. Due to Cotton previously being a stray she will need help with her housetraining, so a secure garden area would be great for her to practice this as well as having a safe space to explore her new world. Cotton really likes playing with cuddly toys and enjoys some tug games. At the centre we have been giving Cotton her dinner in fun enrichment, such as old treat boxes as she loves to rip them up, this can be introduced into her new home to help with settling her in. Cotton has come a long way with her careers here at the centre and is slowly starting to understand how lovely people can be, one of her favourite things to do is snuggle up on a cozy lap and get cuddles. So if you think you could offer this little gem a warm and loving home where she can thrive then please fill out an application and don't forget to favourite her.
