Are you right for Monty?

If you are seeking a friendly and playful companion, Monty, a 2 year old Crossbreed, might be the perfect match for your family. Monty is a curious boy who loves to sniff and explore new environments, making him a great partner for walks on the beach or in the woods, though he prefers not to venture out in the dark. He can live in a family with children aged 12 and above, provided they are supervised and guided by their parents to ensure a positive relationship. Monty is also happy to share his home with another dog but is not fond of cats. His new home should have a secure garden where he can safely play and explore. If you are ready to provide love, guidance, and lots of playtime, Monty could be the perfect addition to your family.

Is Monty right for you?

Monty is a good boy who is eager to please and enjoys spending time with his humans. He is well behaved when having his collar and harness changed and must always wear a lead and harness when in public. Monty loves playing with his toys, especially squeaky ones, and is content to entertain himself or join in a game of tug or catch. He enjoys meaty treats and is motivated by food, which will make further training a rewarding experience for you and Monty. Monty knows basic commands, but he would benefit from additional training to build on his skills. He gets into the car unaided and travels quietly, making him a great companion for outings. Once settled in his new home, Monty can gradually be left alone for up to a couple of hours with a long lasting treat or enrichment to keep him happy. Monty adores human company and will bring joy and energy to any home that can provide the love and structure he needs.
