Are you right for Oscar?

Oscar is a really sweet older man who is looking for a home that can take him on some potters and then spend time snuggling up on the sofa! We don't have much history on Oscar and aren't sure if he can be left at the moment but, do believe that with some gradual build up, he would be happy to spend a couple hours alone if need be- this means that his potential family would have to be around most of the time to begin with. Oscar does find the vets rather stressful and needs to wear a muzzle. Oscar likes to meet other dogs out and about and would be happy to live with another dog in the home as long as their not too boisterous! Oscar loves to play chase. both with people and dogs and can be vocal in doing so! Oscar is a really lovely chap to be around and is looking for a nice retirement home where he can put his feet up! Oscar has shown some guarding behaviour with high value chews whilst being at the centre so, any new owner would have to make sure that he has a quiet place where he can take his chews and food where he is not going to be bothered.

Is Oscar right for you?

Oscar can live with other dogs pending a successful meet. Oscar can live with children 10 and over. He will need work on being left alone so this should be built up slowly. He would also need some work travelling in the car but would still love to be taken to new places where he can explore and have a potter! Oscar is such a lovely character who so deserves to find his retirement home and have his happy ever after!
