Making the decision to part with your dog is never easy. At Dogs Trust Dundee, we make sure the handover is as smooth as possible so you can rest assured that your dog will be well cared for in a loving foster home that best suits their needs.

We aim to make the handover process as easy as possible to remove stress from an already difficult decision. First, we ask that you get in touch. If rehoming sounds like the most suitable option, our expert team will run through an assessment call with you to find out more about your dog. Next, we set up a meeting to get to know your dog better before arranging a date for you to bring them to us.

Once the dog is in our care, our friendly staff and dedicated foster carers work hard to make sure they can relax with their paws up until they find their perfect new home. By finding out all about your dog during our assessment, they will be placed with an experienced carer who can offer nutritious meals, daily walks, fun playtime, and plenty of fuss and attention. Along with the support from our team, our fantastic foster carers will help to prepare your dog for life in their new home.
