Come visit for some 'Pawsome' tales!

Our Manchester centre is offering dog lovers the chance to find out just what it takes to look after hundreds of dogs in need of new homes.

The team at the Denton based rehoming centre is offering free tours to community groups - and the chance to meet some of the four-legged residents - or the opportunity for groups to have a Dogs Trust team member chat to them about all things canine at their own venue.

Manchester Supporter Relations Officer, Nicola Hardman, says:

“Local dog lovers have been incredibly supportive of Dogs Trust Manchester since we opened in 2014 and we want to get out and about to meet as many people as possible to talk to them about what we’ve achieved, or welcome them to the rehoming centre.

More people than ever before are getting in touch about needing to hand over their dog to us and we look after more than 70 dogs at any one time.  Giving groups a tour of the rehoming centre provides a fantastic insight into what it takes to look after so many dogs, and of course there’s always the added bonus of meeting some of our current residents waiting for their forever homes.

A far visit to Dogs Trust Manchester isn’t possible, we can visit groups at their own venue to talk to them about the work of our charity and the ways in which we support local dogs and their owners.”
