Volunteer Foster Carers

Various

The Volunteer Foster Carers role:

The Freedom project is our fostering scheme for dog owners experiencing domestic abuse.

As many refuges can’t accept pets, we are a vital lifeline that helps people get to safety. They know their dog will be loved and cared for until they are ready to be reunited with their dog.

We are currently looking for foster carers in East Anglia, Greater London, South-East England, North-East England, North-West England, Scotland, Yorkshire and Wales.

We ask that foster carers on the Freedom Project only have children over the age of 10 in the home, are able to take the dog to their local vet (either by foot, car or public transport) and can commit for 6-9 months, but holiday cover is provided.

Before applying please go to our dedicated site for more information on the benefits of fostering for Freedom.
