Are you right for Quinn?

Quinn is an affectionate seven-year-old Greyhound crossbreed who is searching for a pet and child-free family. Her ideal home would have a fully enclosed and private garden that she can enjoy as she needs to be kept on a lead in public. She is used to being left for half a working day so if you need to pop out, she'll be snoozing the day away. Quinn has spondylosis and hip dysplasia but this doesn't hold her back in any way - even going on hikes in the Lake District! She is on ongoing medication - any financial support for this can be discussed with potential adopters.

Is Quinn right for you?

Quinn is currently living in a foster home where she has built up a lovely bond with the foster carers and they say she may be a Greyhound but she's more like a Labrador in personality. Quinn gets very excited to meet new people which can translate into jumping up initially, but she soon settles down and will stand for a fuss. She has become more confident around dogs over time and enjoys meeting up with other dogs out on walks now. Quinn is fully housetrained and walks lovely on a lead. Car travel is no problem either and she'll happily jump in the boot ready to go on an adventure. Quinn's love of food can sometimes mean that she gets protective of it, but if she is left to eat in peace and her meals are given on time (she likes a routine!), then this is easily managed. Could Quinn be the perfect girl for you? Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
