Are you right for Jackson?

Jackson is a handsome one-year-old Lab cross Rottie. He is sweet and sensitive boy looking for a loving home. He could potentially live with another dog, calm in temperament and not ball obsessed. He has history of living with cats so could perhaps live with a dog savvy cat in his new home. He has no history of living with small furries and he has not been fussed by livestock when walking past sheep and horses on his lead. Jackson could live in a home with children as young as eleven. He loves his exercise and would suit a home where he can have long walks and ball play. Jackson is housetrained. He is happy to jump in the backseats of the car. He can be car-sick for long journeys. Time left alone is best built up gradually and then he should be happy to be left alone for a few hours. He could cope with a reasonably busy home environment.

Is Jackson right for you?

Jackson’s favourite thing to do is play ball. He loves to have a game of fetch with you and will happily play for hours. He can lack confidence in some situations however he is a smart lad who works through this and overcomes his worries. Jackson loves treats and knows a few tricks including a sit, down, and paw. Jackson is social with other dogs and has enjoyed making new friends here at the rehoming centre. He does not mind if other dogs join him on walks and he likes to socialise off lead too. Care may be needed around toys as Jackson loves his ball.
