Making a personal major gift

By giving a personal donation, you are doing something incredibly special to transform the lives of dogs and the people who love them.

Your investment enables us to reach even more dogs and owners in need of our services, through our prevention, rehoming, lobbying and worldwide programmes. 

How we can work together 

We love people who love dogs and know that giving at a philanthropic level is hugely personal.  We will work closely with you to understand your motivations for giving and will help direct your donation towards the area of our work you feel most passionate about. We will ensure that you engage with our work in the way that suits you. 
 

All philanthropists will receive: 

• a dedicated member of the Philanthropy Team to be your point of contact who will ensure your experience with Dogs Trust is fulfilling and meets your needs 
• regular updates on the impact of your giving, through your preferred form of media 
• opportunities to visit our rehoming centres and to meet our colleagues working on the ground 
• exclusive invitations to our diverse special events calendar, where you can learn about Dogs Trust projects from our team of experts and meet like-minded people who too are making a difference to the lives of dogs and their owners.

We love hearing from you and enjoy exploring how we can utilise your expertise and networks, welcoming your input and taking on board what you have to say, wherever possible.

We define philanthropy as any gift over £5,000. However you choose to donate, we'll make your gift has maximum impact.

We have a dedicated team who provide personal care to you whether you want to invest in revolutionising rehoming, cutting edge research or supporting dogs and their owner(s) during their most challenging time.
